Yes, the holidays have come and 2019 is here! Our team had a collective great time and we are now back to work!
With the new year comes some changes. First, we will move to a Federal Express “2 day Express” shipping. We do this as the weather changes and delays start to increase. We will add additional dry ice to each package and send out 2-3 times a week rather than just 2 days a week. Wednesday will be the last day to ship however we will continue to ship on Thursdays until we all get this right! If you have any concerns, please let us know. This allows us to continue and have our pick-ups on a regular basis with Federal Express.
We have sourced the individual cups and hope to have them back in our kitchen by February 15th! Once this happens, we will add back the ability to order individual items. Again, thank you for your patience!
New menu items and meals will begin this week, ready for ordering by January 15th. We are hoping to add new breakfast and main meals. We have been asked about Lamb dishes however the process to puree this particular meat is challenging. We are working on a Lamb Stew and will test this next week.
Many have asked about the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI and yes, Standardisation is spelled correctly for this). We have tested our diet levels and our Puree diet is Level 4 per the IDDSI standards.
